Career and Technical Education (CTE) student programs will be provided with equipment to better prepare students for the workforce.

Entrepreneurship Incubator Classroom/Labs Setup

Provides collaborative furniture and technology for the Entrepreneurship Program of Study and supports the INCubator and ACCELerator curriculums.

Graphic Arts and Animation Technology Expansion
  • Allows students regular and convenient access to devices in their classroom
  • Provides approved technology for Industry-Based Certifications

911 Communication Equipment and Certification Standards Setup
  • Provides professional training equipment and software for the Law Enforcement Program of Study
  • Allows students in the Law Enforcement Program of Study to receive 911 training and Industry-Based Certification
  • Completed 9/1/2020
Engineering Technology Equipment Expansion (Phase I)
  • Provides a laser engraver/cutter to the Engineering Lab
  • Allows students to gain industry skills and knowledge of current computer-aided design and manufacturing processes.

Partial Equipping of 2nd Welding Lab
  • Provides welding equipment for the expansion of the Welding Program of Study
  • Allows students to have regular and convenient  access to in-demand industry equipment
  • Project Initiated
AutoTechnology- Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Equipment Installation
  • Installation of equipment and supplies for electric and autonomous vehicles
  • The project allows students to learn the basics of maintenance and repair for these vehicles
  • Project in the approval process
Robotics Equipment Expansion (Phase 1)
  • Installation of electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and PLC trainers and robotic arms
  • Allows students to gain industry skills and knowledge of current Robotics and Manufacturing processes.

Biotechnology Microscope Upgrade
  • Provides professional quality oil-immersion microscopes to students enrolled in the Austin Community College Biotechnology dual credit courses.
